MobbsMarr Legal are a well-established and expanding law firm looking for a full-time Conveyancing Clerk/Paralegal to work with a small team of lawyers.
Job tasks and responsibilities
* Work autonomously to provide exceptional, high-level administrative support to Conveyancing Lawyers;
* Read/Input contract details, drafting correspondence, ordering online searches;
* Providing advice regarding standard residential contract terms;
* Follow up on outstanding conditions;
* Preparing settlement statements;
* Preparing and lodging QRO documents & Transfer Duty;
* Arrange meetings and appointments;
* Liaising with relevant stakeholders including real estate agents, solicitors, mortgage brokers and financial institutions.
Skills and experience
* Must have at least 3 years of QLD conveyancing experience;
* Experience with the PEXA e-conveyancing system;
* Familiarity with standard REIQ residential conveyancing contract terms;
* Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills;
* High level of professionalism, attention to detail, exceptional client service skills and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care;
* Superior organisational and task management skills, ability to manage conflicting priorities and respond to rapidly changing needs of a fast-paced practice;
* Technology-savvy and proficient in all Microsoft Office applications;
* Ability to show initiative and work autonomously.
