We are seeking an experienced payroll professional for a part-time role. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing across our workforce.
About the Job:
The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager to handle payroll administration, maintain employee records, and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and awards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process payroll for wages and salaried staff across weekly, fortnightly, and monthly pay cycles.
* Maintain accurate employee records and payroll transactions.
* Provide payroll-related reports and reconciliations.
* Interpret and apply relevant Enterprise Agreements, Awards, and employment legislation.
* Assist with superannuation, PAYG, and payroll tax processes.
* Offer payroll support to managers and employees.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated experience in payroll processing.
* Ability to manage payroll in a complex environment with a mix of casual and permanent staff.
* Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Excel and payroll systems.
* Solid understanding of employment legislation and award interpretation.
