Domestic Assistance Home Care Worker – Aged Care (Ballina Shire )
About the Role: $41.08 per hourWe are looking for a compassionate and dependable Domestic Assistance Home Care Worker to support our aged care clients throughout the Ballina Shire. You will assist clients with maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment, as well as provide essential daily living support.
Servicing suburbs: Alstonville, East Ballina, Lennox Head, South Ballina, Wardell, Skennars Head, West Ballina, Newrybar, and Teven & Tintenbar
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform domestic duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, meal preparation, washing dishes, changing bed linen, laundry, ironing, cleaning bathrooms/toilets, and fridge cleaning
* Shopping for clients as required
* Offer social interaction and companionship
Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience in a similar aged care role is highly valued
* Passionate about supporting vulnerable people with dignity and respect
* Current Police Clearance to work with vulnerable clients
* First Aid and CPR certification up to date
* Valid Open Australian driver's licence with no restrictions
* Access to a registered, roadworthy vehicle with comprehensive insurance for work purposes
* Ability to speak a second language is an advantage
