Job Title: Payroll Consultant
The Role:
We are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors Payroll Consultant to act as a techno-functional subject matter expert for SAP Payroll solutions, with a strong focus on Australian payroll processes.
Key Responsibilities include leading Employee Central Payroll implementations, collaborating with global delivery teams, and working closely with clients to design, build, and support scalable payroll solutions.
Responsibilities include:
* Serving as the subject matter expert (SME) for SAP Payroll, guiding solution design and implementation.
* Leading hands-on configuration, deployment, and support of Employee Central Payroll.
* Conducting client workshops, solution presentations, proofs of concept (POCs), and obtaining solution approvals.
* Estimating efforts for proposed solutions and taking ownership of delivery outcomes.
* Recommending innovative, best-practice-based solutions aligned with SAP standards.
* Developing business process documentation, functional specifications, and configuration guides.
* Conducting implementation and training workshops for SAP power users.
* Leaading testing cycles, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), regression testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT).
* Coordinating integration requirements with other SAP modules (e.g., Finance, HCM).
* Mentoring junior consultants and contributing to the development of payroll competencies within the team.
* Participating in strategic initiatives, proposals, and thought leadership activities.
Requirements:
1. Expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll.
2. 8–10 years of experience in Australian payroll implementations and support.
3. Strong understanding of HCM processes and statutory compliance in Australia.
4. Experience in integration with S/4HANA HCM and Finance modules.
5. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work effectively in an onshore-offshore delivery model.
7. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or related field preferred.
