Ashford Hospital is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to join our team as Theatre Orderly. This position will assist with our fast-paced perioperative services environment.
About the role:
* Transporting patients to/from and within the perioperative department
* Assisting within the operating theatre as delegated by the nursing team
* Providing assistance with patient transport
* Ensuring patient trolleys/beds are available in recovery a timely manner
* Couriering items as delegated by nursing team
* Undertaking cleaning of the operating theatre between cases as per facility protocols
* Restocking and unpacking as delegated
* Waste removal from peri-operative suite
* Working alongside the nursing staff of the perioperative department, it is important to adhere to ACHA's patient/client and staff confidentiality with compliance to legislation and ACHA privacy policy.

About you:
* No previous experience necessary but would be desired
* Good communication skills, able to take direction
* Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
