Head of Investment Operations, Private Markets Manager
The firm manages over $4bn in assets across a diversified range of private market strategies including private credit, private equity, alternatives etc.
Opportunity
This is a senior, hands‐on leadership role suited to an ambitious operations professional ready to step into broader ownership within a growing platform.
Reporting to the senior leadership team, responsibilities will include:
* Taking end-to-end responsibility for the day‐to‐day running of a diversified fund platform
* Providing oversight and review across key deliverables including NAVs, unit pricing, tax, capital activity and investor reporting
* Managing and overseeing key external service providers (administrators, custodians, trustees and auditors)
* Leading, mentoring and optimising a team of operations professionals
* Driving process enhancement, automation and scalable operating solutions
* Leading fund audits and maintaining robust operational compliance and risk frameworks
* Contributing to executive and board discussions as the operational lead
Candidate Profile
* 10+ years' experience across fund operations, fund accounting or investment operations within asset management
* Exposure to private markets structures viewed favourably
* Prior experience within an asset manager essential; fund administration or Big 4 audit background advantageous
* Demonstrated team leadership experience with readiness to assume broader accountability
* Strong technical depth with the ability to interrogate and challenge complex outputs
* Commercial mindset with high attention to detail and a pragmatic, solutions‐oriented approach
* Genuine interest in leveraging technology, data and AI to improve operational effectiveness
* Ambitious, collaborative and comfortable balancing hands‐on execution with people leadership
