We're proud to be one of Cairns' leading tourism operators — and we're looking for an energetic, connected, and results‑driven Sales Manager – China Market to help us shine even brighter.

What You'll Be Doing

* Develop and own the sales strategy for the China market (Mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan).
* Drive revenue through both Australian-based and Inbound accounts and in-market partnerships.
* Foster relationships with Eastern Market ITO's.
* Attend key trade events, meetings, and industry conventions.
* Build and nurture relationships with senior decision‑makers across the travel trade.
* Craft compelling sales presentations and proposals.
* Monitor online sales channels to drive conversion.
* Track, forecast, and interpret market trends and sales results.
* Develop tactical campaign activity.
* Conduct competitor, customer, and market analysis to uncover opportunities.
* Generate accurate, timely sales reports.
* Bring creative flair to social media, promotions, and trade campaigns.


What You'll Bring

* Strong experience and deep trade contacts within the China market.
* Knowledge of the Cairns/Tropical North Queensland tourism landscape.
* Polished presentation skills to win trust, respect, and new business.
* Proven sales and prospecting abilities — you love the chase and the close.
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
* Outstanding attention to detail and stellar organisational skills.
* Ability to work independently, multitask, and take initiative.
* Experience with Respax or Reservations systems (advantage).
* Comfortable thriving in a competitive, fast‑paced environment.
* Fluency in English and Mandarin.
