The Role
We are currently seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Blast Hole Driller to run T45 drill rigs at maximum efficiency, to achieve required operational targets for the business. We work in small teams, focusing on empowering our staff to treat this company as their own. We expect our drillers to strive to increase process efficiency, map out drilling patterns, control the drilling ensuring it creates holes of specific depth and diameters to plan, maintain the drilling equipment, (always keeping it in good working order and clean) follow all required safety procedures and work closely with the rest of the team, both in the blast team and the greater site.
This is 2:1 roster with FIFO of Perth or DIDO out Kalgoorlie.
Qualifications And Skills Required
* Minimum 3 years previous experience in a similar role.
* Manual Driver's Licence (HR Preferred)
* Senior First Aid Certification
* T45 experience
* National police clearance within the last 2 months.
* Full Australian working rights.
* Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Basic computer skills
* Knowledge of Mine Safety & Inspection and OHS Act/Regs
* Time management skills
