Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our Store team. The ideal candidate will have experience in developing backend services using Python and Golang.
* Our team powers the Snap Store and Charmhub.io marketplaces, providing open source software and operating systems to global enterprise and technology markets.
* The role involves working on large-scale projects, collaborating with a global team of 700+ colleagues across 75+ countries.
Responsibilities
* Design and implement new features and enhancements from specification to production and ongoing operations.
* Develop clean web service APIs to support both CLI and web frontend clients using Python and optionally Golang.
* Review code and technical designs produced by other engineers.
* Collaborate with colleagues to find effective solutions to complex problems.
* Travel globally for internal and external events, with occasional remote work opportunities.
Key Skills
