We don't have all the answers to homelessness, but what we can provide is free clean laundry, a warm shower and genuine conversation to those doing it tough.RoleAs an Orange Sky (OS) Assistant Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading a shift of volunteers (between 8 & 10) to ensure that the team goes out on shift every week to help our friends.
You'll be the go-to person for your team & the on-shift service partners (food providers/local community groups) who support us on shift.A week in the lifeProviding updates to your team on any changes to services or other important informationHelping train new volunteers on how to correctly operate the equipmentMaintain the volunteer roster & notify your Service Leader/Service Coordinator if you need more team membersSending out a weekly reminder for upcoming rostered volunteersWho you areIf you are organised, comfortable in leadership positions and keen to make a difference to your local community, then you will be a great fit
