As a Support Worker, you will provide a safe and supportive environment for people to sober up, reducing the risk of harm to themselves or others.
You will work closely with clients, monitoring their well-being and providing basic first aid when needed.
Maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports are essential aspects of this role.
A collaborative approach with support services is crucial in ensuring the best possible outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitoring and supervising individuals in the sobering-up facility
* Ensuring the safety and well-being of clients at all times
* Providing basic first aid and responding to emergencies as needed
* Maintaining accurate records and completing incident reports
* Collaborating with support services to achieve optimal results
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant field
* Current and valid First Aid Certificate or ability/willingness to obtain
* Current Tasmanian Driver's License
* International Police Record Check (where applicable)
* Working with Vulnerable People Check
* Mental Health First Aid (preferred)
