Day Off is looking for a proactive and organised Cook to join our founding team.

The Role

• The Prep Master: Your primary focus is prepping fresh ingredients to perfection, ensuring the kitchen is stocked and ready for the daily rush.

• Service Support: You’ll jump in to help with service during peak times, ensuring food goes out quickly and efficiently.

• Food Aesthetics: You have a genuine interest in food presentation. You understand that \"we eat with our eyes\" and ensure every dish looks beautiful and consistent.

• Kitchen Upkeep: Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including managing the dishwasher and ensuring the kitchen stays spotless throughout the shift.

• Location: Heart of Southport. Very walkable location with bus and tram stops just steps away.

• Status: Full-time

Requirements

• Experience: Previous experience in a sandwich shop or cafe environment is highly preferred.

• Active & Proactive: You are a fast mover who sees what needs to be done before being asked.

• Team Player: You have great communication skills (Fluent English) and a positive attitude that adds to the cafe’s vibe.

• Reliability: Punctual, professional, and ready to be part of a brand-new opening.
