**The Role**:
Reporting to the Head of HR, and working with a degree of autonomy, the Internal Communications Specialist will support internal communications specifically supporting strategic communication initiatives. This is a Permanent Part Time opportunity, where you can showcase your communication skills within a 20-hour working week.
You will develop a communication strategy and annual plan with a focus on delivery. You will also produce a wide range of internal content and oversee key internal communication channels, including digital platforms.
The creative development and implementation of communication and engagement strategies will see you working in partnership with key business areas and stakeholders. Furthermore, your delivery of employee communication experiences will ensure that our national team is informed and engaged, in a manner which continues to build our employee brand and remains in line with embedding our culture and behaviours framework.
**How Do You Measure Up?**
- Approximately 3 + years' experience in a communications role. Preferably with some exposure to managing online and hybrid events.
- Significant experience in successfully developing internal and external communication strategies, and delivering on those strategies with targeted, measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and maintaining communications campaigns, working proactively and reactively, with a strong focus on employee communication and change management.
- Proven experience managing stakeholders to build employee engagement
- Clear and creative writer, able to create content for a variety of audiences and channels.
- Excellent drafting skills with experience across a range of materials
- Demonstrated understanding and experience of a range of communications channels, including digital platforms.
- Ability to craft high-quality content in a fast-paced environment whilst being able to prioritise and work on multiple projects within tight timeframes.
