About the Role
4 Voices is a national volunteer‐powered charity that supports women who may be at risk of social isolation, domestic violence or homelessness. We are seeking a compassionate and professional Virtual Receptionist to be the welcoming first point of contact for our community.
Responsibilities
* Serve as the friendly and calming first voice for partners, donors, volunteers, and supporters.
* Triage incoming calls and messages, ensuring each enquiry is directed to the right team member for prompt assistance.
* Provide clear information on our services and handle general enquiries with patience and empathy.
* Accurately record and forward detailed messages using our systems.
* Manage the main phone line, ensuring no call goes unanswered.
Qualifications
* Excellent communication skills and natural empathy for helping others.
* Computer literate – proficiency with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams).
* Strong time‐management skills and the ability to work independently from home.
* Quiet home workspace and availability Monday to Friday.
Requirements
* Working with Children Check (or the ability to obtain one).
Availability
* Remote role, Monday to Friday.
* Regular commitment of more than 6 months, 5 hours per day spread across the week.
Training and Induction
Induction for all roles and ongoing training as required for each role.
