About The Role
We have an exciting new position that has become available at Deborah Cheetham Retirement Village in Ocean Grove as a Baker with some Cafe Assistant duties involved as well. This is a part time position working Thursday - Saturday 0700-1500.
Our Bakers at Ryman wear more than just their baking hat. In this role you will:
Greet our friendly staff who are looking for their 9am caffeine hitServe our residents their favourite sweet treat after their morning exercise classPrepare delicious focaccias for guests who visit our onsite café to catch up with their loved ones]Bake and cook a wide selection of cabinet food for our on-site café to delight our customers and promote a welcoming atmosphere at the village

About You
To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have:
Passion for baking and cooking home style goodsBarista / patisserie / cookery qualifications desired - but not essential for the right candidateAbility to work independently to the highest standardsGreat customer service and communication skills
