About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Cash & Banking Manager to provide strategic oversight of banking operations within our Shared Services function.
Reporting to the GM, Shared Services, this role is responsible for ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and efficiency of cash management, bank reconciliations, and payment processing activities.
You will play a critical role in managing outsourced banking service providers, strengthening controls and compliance, mitigating financial risk, and driving continuous improvement across banking operations.
This is a highly visible role partnering closely with Finance, Treasury, and Technology teams.
Your key accountabilities include:
* Providing strategic leadership and oversight of all banking operations, including payments, collections, cash management, and bank reconciliations
* Ensuring strong compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, treasury policies, and governance frameworks, including fraud and AML standards
* Leading cash positioning and forecasting activities to optimise working capital
* Managing outsourced service providers, including SLAs, performance monitoring, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Building and maintaining effective relationships with banking partners to ensure service quality, compliance, and cost efficiency
* Championing banking technology, automation, and system integration initiatives in collaboration with Finance and IT teams
* Identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational and financial risks across banking activities
* Supporting internal and external audits through strong documentation, controls, and insights
* Driving a culture of continuous improvement, performance measurement, and accountability
About You
You are a seasoned banking or cash management leader with strong technical expertise, a risk focused mindset, and the ability to operate confidently in complex, high volume environments.
You will bring:
* Demonstrated leadership experience (6+ years) overseeing advanced banking and cash management operations
* Deep expertise in financial controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance
* Proven experience managing outsourced service providers, including contract and SLA management
* Strong knowledge of ERP systems and banking technology platforms, with experience driving process optimisation and automation
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset
* Strong stakeholder management capability across Finance, Treasury, IT, and external partners
* Experience working in large, complex or multinational organisations (FMCG experience desirable)
* High attention to detail, accuracy, and proactive risk mitigation
