**About the role at Ogilvy Australia**
Ogilvy Sydney is looking for a Copywriter to work with an Art Director to develop world-class ideas and concepts. The job demands that you have the drive to continually push yourself to strive for truly breakthrough thinking and the passion to sell your ideas to your peers and clients.
You will be a willing collaborator, working in close partnership with the wider creative team, our strategy team and client service teams alike. The greatest copywriters are students of life, masters of common sense and people who fundamentally 'get it'. In most cases, all they need to learn is how to sell and how to speak (and write) in the voice of the client. Along the way, they have developed:
- The ability to build creative and unique ideas
- The confidence to communicate their ideas and sell them to peers and clients
- Ability to reach various audiences, using a range of voice, style and format
**Seniority**
**Junior** - A role for someone with some basic skills, good motivation and ability to learn. Typically up to 2 years of experience is required.
**Responsibilities**
- Copywriting and Content Creation - Write compelling content in line with the brand's voice to achieve key goals, including awareness, ranking, and conversion
- Market and Customer Research - Conducts research into relevant trends, industries, markets and customers to develop informed sales strategies
- Content Development - Build and manage a rich content calendar that attracts the relevant audiences
