Sun Engineering is seeking an energetic and experienced finance professional to join our team as Financial Controller.
Based in Brisbane, the successful candidate will join our Executive Leadership Team and oversee the entire finance function across the group. This role will act as the primary financial advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team, contributing to both the strategic direction and operational performance of the business.
The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on involvement in day-to-day financial activities. The successful candidate will also mentor and support junior members of the finance team while strengthening systems, reporting, and financial controls across the organisation.
The Financial Controller will lead:
* Financial strategy and planning
* Financial reporting and compliance
* Forecasting and budgeting
* Risk management and governance
* Supporting business growth and operational performance
