We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated full time Restaurant Manager to join our team at Woolwich NSW 2110. As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service, and our business is successful.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Operational Management:
o Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, inventory management, and customer service.
o Develop and implement strategies to optimize efficiency, minimize costs, and maximize revenue.
o Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
* Team Leadership:
o Recruit, train, and supervise staff members, including chefs, servers, and kitchen staff.
o Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, motivating team members to deliver excellent service.
o Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching as needed.
* Customer Service:
o Maintain a strong focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring that all guests receive attentive and personalized service.
o Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
o Implement strategies to enhance the overall dining experience and exceed customer expectations.
* Financial Management:
o Prepare and manage budgets, closely monitoring expenses and revenue to achieve financial targets.
o Analyze financial reports and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
o Implement pricing strategies and promotional activities to drive sales and increase profitability.
* Business Development:
o Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, such as catering services or partnerships with local vendors.
o Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
o Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' activities to remain competitive in the market.
Skills Required:
* Diploma or higher qualifications in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
* At least 2 years’ of experience in the industry
* Proven experience in restaurant management, with a track record of success in driving business growth and profitability.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
* Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
* Knowledge of food and beverage trends, industry regulations, and best practices.
* Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
We are offering:
Salary base between $70,000 to $80,000 plus superannuation
