About the Role
Reporting into the Head of Tax, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing this organization's direct and indirect tax obligations. A market leader within their field with blue chip customers.
This role will have a key focus on ensuring robust tax governance, compliance, as well as managing tax related risks.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and reviewing all tax compliance obligations across multiple entitles/countries
* Provide and co-ordinate tax advice to the business units across the group
* Manage the identification and resolution of taxation risks and technical issues regarding income tax, FBT, GST and employment taxes
* Lead process improvement initiatives across the tax function
About You
* Professional qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, CTA) with a strong academic background in taxation
* Experience in a large Australian corporate or with large multinational organizations is highly desirable
* Experience gained within a Big 4/Mid-tier environment will be considered as highly advantageous
