Job Overview
As a trainee case manager, you will develop skills in managing workers' compensation claims through hands-on training and mentoring.
* Assist in managing claims from start to finish by conducting thorough investigations, analyzing data, and providing updates to relevant parties.
* Communicate effectively with injured workers, employers, insurers, and healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless claim resolution.
* Support the coordination of medical and rehabilitation services to ensure timely and appropriate treatment.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Learn to navigate complex legal and medical frameworks related to workers' compensation, including claim life cycles, payment entitlements, and return-to-work obligations.
Training and Development
You will undergo 4 weeks of comprehensive theoretical and practical training in workers' compensation case management. This training will cover topics such as claim life cycles, medical treatment, payment entitlements, and return-to-work obligations.
Further training and professional development opportunities will be provided throughout your first 12 months to enhance your knowledge and skills in workplace injury management, dispute resolution, and workers' compensation law.
