Your role
An exciting and rare opportunity has become available for motivated individuals currently enrolled in, or recently completed a Degree in Business (Property) looking to begin their careers in the property valuation sector.
You will assist qualified Valuers with a variety of tasks including assistance with quality valuation reports, providing excellent back-end support, client services, and general office administration.
This role offers career development opportunities for candidates with the right attitude and skills and will prepare you to become a Registered and/or Certified Property Valuer.
About you
Opteon is seeking bright, motivated and articulate candidates who are looking to work full-time or part-time while studying and establishing a career with the business. The successful candidate will demonstrate:
* Current enrolment or recently completed a Bachelor of Business (Property) or equivalent
* Genuine interest in residential (and/or commercial) property valuations
* Confident verbal communication and report writing skills
* A positive and professional manner
* High degree of computer proficiency
* Current Driver’s license

According to third-party resources, the estimated total pay range for a Graduate Valuer at Opteon is AUD 49,000 to AUD 51,000 per year.

Training & development
The Opteon Graduate Program supports their valuation graduates' progress through to Residential Property Valuer (RPV). The program aims to provide a comprehensive introduction to the valuation industry, enabling the new valuers to learn alongside some of the very best property professionals in the industry. They also support additional education and specialisation in non-mortgage areas.
Their internal networks and tools connect their graduates with mentors across the country including other graduates and experienced valuers. They support their ongoing professional development by applying best practices across a broad range of valuation types and property sectors and attaining Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.
