Scope of Work: Due to continued growth and recent project awards, NRW Civil & Mining are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our high-performing team on upcoming infrastructure projects.
This role will see you working on large-scale urban projects such as roads, bridges, rail, and associated infrastructure within a metro environment. The successful candidate will coordinate and administer engineering activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs, and specifications to successful completion.

To be considered for the position as a Senior Project Engineer you must possess the following as a minimum:
Bachelor of Civil Engineering qualification or relevant degree
Extensive experience as a Senior Project Engineer in a civil or infrastructure environment
Main Roads WA experience highly regarded, with a strong understanding of authority requirements and approval processes including scope of works and requirements.
Extensive experience in road and pavement construction, including bulk and detailed earthworks, subgrade preparation, and pavement layers.
Proven experience in end‑of‑month reporting and forecasting, with a strong understanding of construction productivities and cost drivers.
Sound understanding of construction sequencing and planning, with the ability to develop and implement efficient and buildable work methodologies.
Experience in managing procurements and package of works
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CAD and PDF software packages
Knowledge of Microsoft Projects/Primavera P6 software
Proven site execution capability, working with Supervisors, Superintendents and client representatives to maintain and build strong relationships
Ability to work autonomously but also collaboratively in a team‑oriented environment
Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be responsible for but not limited to:
Supervise Project Engineers and support the management team in the safe delivery of the project
Completing daily and weekly planning, progress and productivity reports and site records
Prepare engineering computations and drawings
Field engineering assistance
QA preparation, ITP sign off, NRC’s and quality documentation
Procurement and planning assistance
Review project schedules to ensure delivery times are met and communicate with key stakeholders on progress
