Role overview
We are seeking an experienced Draftsperson to convert client requirements, site measurements and architectural plans into accurate drawings, cutting lists and CNC-ready production files for efficient manufacture and installation.
Key responsibilities
* Produce accurate drawings, 3D models and cutting lists for kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes and commercial joinery
* Prepare CNC-ready files (nesting and programming) for efficient machining and material usage
* Interpret architectural plans and site measurements, confirming dimensions, materials and hardware
* Liaise with clients, builders, designers, cabinetmakers and installers to finalise specifications
* Ensure outputs comply with manufacturing capabilities, Australian standards and project timelines
* Maintain version control, implement revisions and support drafting process improvements
Skills and experience
* Drafting experience in cabinetry, kitchen or joinery manufacturing
* Proficiency in Cabinet Vision, CabMaster, AutoCAD or SketchUp
* Knowledge of cabinet construction methods, materials, hardware and tolerances
* Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction plans
* Strong attention to detail, problem solving and time management
* Clear written and verbal communication
* Relevant trade or tertiary qualification is desirable but not essential
