As an Ericsson Packet Core Expert, you will join a dynamic team delivering cutting-edge solutions for 4G/LTE, 5G NSA, and 5G SA networks. You will play a pivotal role in designing, optimizing, and implementing strategies for MOCN networks, emergency services, and advanced mobility solutions. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects shaping the future of telecommunications, with flexibility for remote work and collaboration across global teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and optimize Ericsson packet core architecture for 4G, 5G NSA, and SA solutions
* Develop strategies and technology roadmaps for MOCN networks and advanced services
* Analyze capacity metrics, performance counters, and KPIs to ensure optimal network performance
* Provide expert guidance on mobility strategies, layering, and network architecture
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure solutions
Required Qualifications & Skills
* Proven expertise in Ericsson packet core products and network architecture
* Strong understanding of 4G/LTE, 5G NSA, 5G SA, Fixed Voice, FWA, and emergency networks
* Solid knowledge of capacity planning, KPIs, and performance optimization in operator environments
* Familiarity with 3GPP, GSMA, and ITU standards
* Ability to work in Oceania time zone
Nice-to-Have Skills
* Experience with Ericsson cloud-native infrastructure (SDI) and cloud container distribution (CCD)
* Knowledge of NF configurations and deployment for cloud environments
* Exposure to storage dimensioning and virtualization technologies
* Understanding of advanced 5G services and network slicing
* Hands-on experience with multi-vendor integration
