Gordon Legal isn't just a law firm; we're a collaborative team committed to quality, care and client outcomes. We are seeking an experienced Legal Administrator or Law Clerk to support our Superannuation & TPD team in Sunshine, with a focus on historical filework and leave coverage. This hands‐on role is suited to someone highly organised, detail‐focused and confident working within established processes. You will play a vital role in supporting clients through the TPD and insurance claims process with empathy, professionalism and care.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high‐level administrative support to lawyers, including file management and document preparation
* Draft and format correspondence and legal documents
* Manage workflows, key dates and file progression
* Communicate with clients and external stakeholders professionally and with empathy
* Work autonomously on historical file review tasks (with appropriate supervision)
* Assist with both litigated and non‐litigated matters in a fast‐paced practice
* Support process improvement and assist the team to meet deadlines consistently
Skills & Experience
* Prior experience as a legal assistant, legal administrator or law clerk (PI, insurance, superannuation or TPD experience highly regarded)
* A genuine commitment to client care and achieving the best outcomes
* Strong attention to detail, organisation and time management skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* High level of professionalism, exceptional client service skills and ability to handle sensitive/confidential information with appropriate care
* Able to work independently and collaboratively within a positive and supportive team culture
* Tech savvy, adaptable and able to prioritise competing demands
* Willingness to take initiative and contribute to improving systems and processes
