About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Disability Support Workers to support NDIS participants to live more independently, safely, and confidently. You will work alongside participants in their homes and communities, providing person-centred support that promotes choice, dignity, and meaningful engagement.
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about making a genuine difference in people's lives and who values relationship-based support.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support in line with individual NDIS plans
* Assist with daily living activities (e.g. personal care, meal preparation, domestic tasks)
* Support participants to access the community, appointments, and social activities
* Encourage independence, skill development, and emotional wellbeing
* Implement and follow behaviour support plans where required
* Monitor and report changes in health, behaviour, or wellbeing
* Complete accurate and timely case notes and incident reports
* Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional environment at all times
* Work collaboratively with team leaders, clinicians, families, and external stakeholders
About You
* Genuine passion for supporting people with disability
* Patient, empathetic, and respectful communication style
* Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations
* Reliable, flexible, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Strong time-management and documentation skills
Essential Requirements
* NDIS - Clearance check
* NDIS - Orientation module
* Police check
* Working with children check
* Certificate III in individual support or higher
* Manual handling certificate
* CPR certificate
* First aid certificate
* Infection control certificate
* Full comprehensive car insurance
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.15 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 76 per week
