Responsibilities of a Registered Nurse (Surgical) Deliver safe, evidence-based standards of nursing care Supervise, direct, and guide nursing team members and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) in patient care Provide education and support to individuals/patients for health recovery, rehabilitation, or end-of-life needs Lead successful quality improvement and safety management projects to achieve desired outcomes Collaborate with the wider healthcare team to support patient care needs Act as a role model for safe practice Minimum 2 years' nursing experience in an acute surgical environment Police Check Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent Current registration with AHPRA (no restrictions) Postgraduate certificate or working towards in relevant specialty (desirable) Compliance with ACQSHC National standards Commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement Self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a high-performing team Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proactive, motivated, and customer-focused Why Join Healthscope? If successful, you will receive a salary based on your nursing experience, aligned with the current nursing Enterprise Agreement (NCPH Nursing EBA 2022), with salaries ranging from $38.72 to $52.32 per hour, or an annual salary of approximately $76,510 to $103,384 plus penalties.
