The Personal Assistant to the Head of Student Wellbeing is appointed by the Principal and reports to the Business Manager.
On a day-to-day basis, this role takes direction from the Head of Student Wellbeing.
This position provides high-level administrative support to the Head of Student Wellbeing, while also contributing to the broader administrative team to ensure the Student and Teacher Support Centre operates efficiently and supports both staff and students.

The Personal Assistant acts with delegated authority from the Principal and plays an active part in the life and mission of the College.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES General Administrative SupportManage correspondence on behalf of the leadership teamAnswer and manage phone calls and messagesPrepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action itemsCoordinate diaries and schedule appointmentsSupport to Head of Student WellbeingLiaise with external speakers and manage bookings for pastoral and wellbeing programsAssist with the preparation, editing, and distribution of pastoral program booklets and student diariesPrepare materials for Parent Evenings and Year 7 orientation programsSupport student leadership initiatives alongside the Student Leadership CoordinatorAssist with event planning for Mercy Day, end-of-year functions, and graduationCollect, monitor, and report on wellbeing data as requiredAssist with organising and preparing resources for school counsellorsManage student detention processes and assist with student exchangesSupport to Head of Faith and MissionAssist with liturgy preparation, including creating Mass booklets, maintaining the chapel, and managing chapel suppliesSupport to Head of OperationsArrange appointments and maintain calendarsAssist with policy updatesOffice Administration SupportPrepare and distribute the Staff BulletinProvide backup coverage for Student Reception, as requiredPerform data entry into the school's administration systemSupport bulk mail-outs (e.g., newsletters, student reports, fee statements)Assist with general office duties including photocopying, laminating, word processing, and desktop publishingAssist with first aid duties, if requiredProfessional PracticeIdentify and implement improved administrative processes and efficienciesAttend relevant training and development programsParticipate in office and whole-staff meetingsEngage in annual performance review processesChild Safety and Student WellbeingUnderstand and comply with the school's Child Safety Policy, Code of Conduct, and related proceduresActively promote and maintain a safe and supportive environment for all studentsOther Duties This position description provides a broad outline of key responsibilities.
The Personal Assistant may be required to undertake other duties, as directed, that are consistent with the role and the overall objectives of the College.Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
