We are one of the largest Asian food importer and distributor with offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane.
We are currently seeking a proactive and self-motivated Admin Assistant to join our Melbourne team. The role will be supporting a busy team with various sales support and administrative duties on a day-to-day basis. Chinese language skill is essential.
**Your duties will include but are not limited to**:
- Processing customer orders and invoicing
- Liaising with internal stakeholders, including sales, warehouse and distribution, and purchasing to ensure accurate orders and timely deliveries
- Follow up claims and processing credit notes
- Involved with resolving customer queries and complaints according to the company's policy and procedures
- Receipt stock in a timely manner to ensure stock levels are kept up to date
- Monitor and maintain inventory and pricing master data
- Clerical and administrative support duties for the department including filing, maintenance of records and files, other duties as required by the Manager
**What You'll Need to Succeed**:
- Good computer skills and Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
- High attention to detail
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Possess own transport
