Strategy and Planning – provides strategic and planning leadership across all levels of the organisation, including Planning and Partnerships, Capital Projects, and Engineering & Facilities programs.
People & Culture – creates a supportive, safe, and inspiring workplace where every employee can thrive, supporting the delivery of care to patients and community.
The Role
The Executive Assistant manages all administrative activities including correspondence, organising committees, and preparing briefing materials for the Executive Director Strategy and Planning, Chief People Officer and their direct reports as required.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for the offices of the Executive Directors (Strategy & Planning and People & Culture), ensuring office operates effectively and efficiently.
Manage diary for the Executive Directors and designated staff, arranging meetings and events within Alfred Health and with external stakeholders.
Support the Executive Directors' executive teams in the timely production of papers and presentations and coordination of documentation for meetings, ensuring deadlines are met, and take minutes and record actions of meetings as requested.
Other duties as directed by the Executive Director.
Skills And Key Capabilities
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation, with patients and the community.
Demonstrated compassion and integrity; discretion when dealing with sensitive and confidential issues.
Strong event management skills from planning through to successful implementation of events.
Qualifications And Experience Required
Relevant experience at Executive Assistant level with proven ability to provide broad support and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and other IT systems.
Health experience not required but will be looked on favourably.
