This role is only available at the AER offices located inBrisbane, Melbourne, orSydney. They are available on a full-time,part-time or job-share basis.

What you willdo as the Executive Assistant
AnExecutive Assistant at the AER provides executive support to twoAER leaders (either Board members and/or senior executives), inaddition to administrative and secretariat support to AERcommittees, branches and projects. Executive Assistants report tothe AER leaders they support.
Workingunder limited guidance, Executive Assistants in the AER:
- Provide high levelexecutive support to senior executives and Board members,including inbox management and diary management, withdiscretion, attention to detail and strong communicationskills.
- Maintain productiverelationships with staff across the AER and with stakeholdersto support effective workflows and ways of working.
- Provide secretariatsupport for meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes,liaising with staff across the business to collate papers,managing invitations and RSVPs, arranging meeting rooms, videoconference bookings and catering.
- Provide supervisionand line management to an APS4 AdministrativeAssistant.
Aboutyou
In orderto succeed in the role, you will have:
- Experience inproviding leadership, guidance and support to a substantiveemployee.
- Experience inproviding high level executive support to senior leaders,including inbox management and diary management, withdiscretion and attention to detail.
- Demonstratedcollaborative attitude and solid communications skills, withthe ability to maintain productive relationships with staff ofall levels to support effective workflows.
- Proven ability toproactively assess and prioritise multiple competing tasks, anda resilient, adaptive mindset.
- Clear, concise andarticulate oral and written communication with a commitment toachieving high quality outcomes.
