About the Role
This position is an opportunity to provide administrative support to our multicultural officers in completing paperwork and assisting with Pathways to Volunteering and Work programs. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate documents and forms to clients, collaborate with refugees and workers, and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
Main Responsibilities:
* Communicate documents and forms to clients
* Assist multicultural officers in completing paperwork
* Support Pathways to Volunteering and Work programs
* Advocate for clients when necessary
* Contribute to one-off events
Skill Requirements:
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Familiarity with government and citizenship forms
* Able to communicate effectively with refugees and workers
* Interest in supporting refugees
* Flexibility due to sporadic work nature
Requirements:
* A satisfactory National Police History Check
* A commitment to regular work of more than 6 months
* Type of work: Administration & Office Management, Translating & Interpreting
