Immediate Start

12 Month Fixed Term Contract

400m from Subiaco Train Station


The Role

Perseus Mining is seeking a motivated and highly organised Recruitment and Office Administrator to join our Subiaco based team. Whilst this role will focus primarily on providing administrative support for the full recruitment and onboarding life cycle, each day will see the successful candidate supporting the People team with a range of tasks including general office support.

Reporting to the Manager, People, and as part of the People and Culture Team you will be:

* Assisting the Talent Advisor with posting advertisements and coordinating interviews.
* Managing the recruitment inbox by triaging, filing, actioning, and escalating queries as required.
* Managing applicant communication, sending status updates, and maintaining accurate recruitment records.
* Preparing employment agreements and facilitating all pre‑employment checks, including medicals and other required clearances.
* Posting internal news stories on the company intranet.
* Conducting new starter introductions to the Corporate Office.
* Maintaining and replenishing kitchen and office supplies, and assisting with document preparation.
* Assisting with expense claims.


About You

We are primarily seeking an individual with experience in pre‑employment and onboarding who has a proactive mindset, enjoys a varied range of tasks and supporting a team.


Our ideal candidate will have:

* Prior experience facilitating pre‑employment and onboarding processes.
* The ability to actively problem‑solve and think critically.
* Interest in using previous experience to suggest and implement improvements to process.
* The ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to pick up new technology.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage workloads with accuracy.
* Understanding of global mobility or expatriate processes, including visa, relocation, medical, and onboarding coordination.
* Experience working in recruitment environments with complex or international workforce requirements.
* The ability to coordinate effectively across multiple time zones and diverse cultural backgrounds.


It would be beneficial if you have:

* Experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
* Experience in the mining or recruitment industry or supporting an HR team.


Where you'll be working

This position is based in Perseus's Subiaco office, with a corporate team of roughly 60 employees and growing. You'll join a small corporate team, allowing for close interactions across all departments and levels of the business.
