You will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, handling inquiries over the phone and in person, and maintaining high standards of professionalism.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum 1-2 years work experience in an administrative assistant/accounts type role or similar.
Knowledge of customer service, understanding of product range, and answering questions relating to machinery services are essential.
The successful applicant will be proficient in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), and bilingual or native speaker level of proficiency is an advantage but not essential.
Clerical skills and a high level of organizational and communicational skills are required. You will be communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary, and providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
Key Responsibilities:
* Meet and greet customers
* Answer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
* Maintain high standards of professionalism and customer satisfaction
* Organize repairs and servicing according to customer requirements
* Demonstrate and explain products and services available to customers
* Quote repairs and servicing, arrange deliveries as required, and follow up with customers for satisfaction and resolution of issues
* Accept payment for goods and services using various payment methods
* Update job cards, prepare sales quotations and invoices
* Prepare for and participate in stock-takes
* Prioritize daily tasks to satisfactory completion levels
* Sourcesubcontractors nationally for repairs when required
* Conduct daily billing and account reconciliation
* Follow up with debtors regarding payment and purchase orders
* Participate in fortnightly service report meetings with major clientele
* Chase subcontractor invoices and sign off on payments
* Record keeping of service reports and preventative maintenance
