Financial Operations Assistant Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Financial Operations Assistant to join our team.
Job Description
The primary objective of this role is to provide administrative support to the Finance Department, focusing on financial operations tasks.
Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating payroll processing for 5,000+ staff members
* Handling new starter and termination processes, as well as payroll adjustments
* Ensuring compliance with various EBA's and awards by interpreting their requirements
* Calculating PAYG, Payroll Tax, and Superannuation payments
* Managing leave entitlements for employees
* Providing accurate information in response to employee queries
* Assisting the broader team with additional tasks as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Excellent time management skills, with the ability to multitask and handle varied responsibilities
* A passion for financial operations and a strong desire to deliver high-quality results
* A positive and professional personality
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* A keen eye for detail
* Prior experience with SAP (or a large ERP system) is highly advantageous
