EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT/BUSINESS SUPPORT TEAM LEADER
An exciting opportunity is available to join the Office of the CEO at the Australia New Zealand Policing Advisory Agency (ANZPAA) as an Executive Assistant/Business Support Team Leader.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Executive Assistant/Business Support Team Leader provides high level executive support to the Chief Executive Officer, including acting as the CEO's point of contact, assessing requests in order to prioritise matters and exercising discretion and maintaining confidentiality to facilitate the optimal use of the CEO's time.
The role will also be responsible for providing secretariat support for ANZPAA's senior level governance meetings and supervising and providing advice to the Business Support team (including the Administrative Officer) in their responsibilities of managing email correspondence, responding to stakeholder queries and facilitating information and access requests.
The Executive Assistant/Business Support Team Leader is responsible for managing the allocation of tasks and responsibilities to the Business Support and Administrative Officer, undertaking quality assurance of the team's outputs and making decisions in relation to the team's activities.
The ideal Executive Assistant/Business Support Team Leader will have exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills and demonstrate:
1. high level written and oral communication skills
2. an ability to provide support to and engage effectively with senior executives
3. an ability to work flexibly in a high-pressure environment with minimal supervision
4. an ability to exercise professional discretion and maintain confidentiality.
This position is permanent full-time.
