Accounting Practice Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to support our team of accountants.
About the Role
* Process ASIC and ATO documents, including information and lodgements
* Provide administrative support to the accounting team with tasks such as processing income tax assessments, electronic lodgement of documents, and management of debtors and creditors using MYOB
Key Responsibilities
* Client onboarding and registration
* Preparation and coordination of ASIC company statements, including invoicing and minutes
* Processing of all ASIC lodgements, including company registrations, share transfers, shareholder updates, company address changes, name updates, deregistrations, and maintenance of internal systems
* Company and title searches
* Maintenance of databases and preparation of client correspondence
* General office duties and support
Requirements
* At least 2 years' experience in administration within an accounting practice
* Familiarity with ASIC portal, forms, and requirements
* Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude
* Excellent presentation and communication skills
* Experience with XERO Practice Manager is highly regarded
