About The Role

As an Assistant Manager, you will independently manage smaller appointments while playing a key role in the planning, execution and control of medium to larger engagements. You'll also provide guidance and oversight to junior team members, contributing to the development and capability of the broader R&R team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional services practitioner looking to step into a role with greater responsibility, client exposure, and leadership opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
* Conduct interviews with company directors and bankrupts
* Attend business premises to assist with trading on, including preparation of budgets and forecasts
* Liaise with external stakeholders including lawyers, agents and auctioneers
* Oversee and coordinate the realisation of company and personal assets
* Monitor and manage statutory deadlines and compliance requirements
* Review the work of junior team members and provide coaching and feedback
* Ensure accurate and timely processing of information into firm systems
* Identify, research and resolve complex technical and commercial issues
* Share knowledge, best practices and industry insights to uplift team capability
About You

You are a motivated professional services practitioner with a strong interest in restructuring and insolvency, looking to take the next step in your career. With solid technical foundations and hands-on experience across insolvency engagements, you're comfortable managing competing priorities and working autonomously, while also enjoying collaboration within a high-performing team. You bring strong communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a proactive mindset, with a genuine interest in developing others and expanding your professional network.

You will be successful in this role if you have:

Essential
* 3+ years' experience in Professional Services, ideally within insolvency or restructuring
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
* Ability to work autonomously while contributing effectively within a team environment
Desirable
* Previous experience supervising or mentoring junior staff
* Interest in developing client relationships and professional networks
Qualifications
* Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major, or
* Law degree (LLB or JD) with a demonstrated interest in insolvency
