**About Orange Sky**
Orange Sky is the world's-first free mobile laundry and shower service provided to people experiencing homelessness. We offer a platform for everyday Australians and Kiwis to connect by creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.
We currently operate 36 services across 25 locations in Australia and three services across two locations in New Zealand. There are 116,000 Australians and 41,600 Kiwis experiencing homelessness, and we're on a mission to positively connect these communities through clean clothes, warm showers, and genuine, non-judgemental conversation. We're driven, dedicated, insanely ambitious and a little unconventional. We take our work seriously, but have plenty of fun along the way. We work hard and 'get it done', but always make time to celebrate each other's success.
**T**he Role**
To support our continued growth, we are looking for an exceptional administration and customer service assistant to join the team. You will work at our Brisbane HQ and be responsible for our front reception desk, providing outstanding service to our friends, volunteers and anyone else who walks in the door As well as administrative support to the wider team.
In a nutshell this role is responsible for:
- General HQ administration duties - including greeting guests, answering phone calls, maintaining office records, stationery orders, preparing for meetings, etc. with the highest level of professionalism
- Incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
- Banking and assistance with credit card receipts
- Assistance with cyclical task assignment
- Responding to online inquiries using templated responses
- Ensuring templated responses are up to date and current
- Office upkeep and maintenance.
- Responsible for booking travel and accommodation for various team members
- Responsible for HQ and offsite events ie catering, bookings, travel etc.
- Assistance with staff milestone, onboarding and offboarding events
**Who are we looking for?**
- Experience in an administration role
- Experience in a customer facing role
- Positive team player with a collaborative focus
- Excellent communication skills face-to-face and over the phone
- The ability to multitask and prioritise conflicting demands
- An understanding of and genuine passion for OSA's cause
