About the role:
We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Finance Manager to lead the financial operations and administrative functions in a fast-paced national business.
You'll manage all aspects of financial management and reporting, payroll, reconciliations, onboarding, and internal communications, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
You will also gain exposure to HR coordination, compliance, and business systems, supporting senior leadership with monthly and quarterly reviews, budget tracking, and process improvement initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing:
Lead finance operations, with exposure to HR, compliance, and internal systems.
Monthly financial reporting to Managing Director, COO & State Managers including executive summary, statements of financial performance, position and cashflow with key metrics.
Oversee financial processes, including payroll, accounts, reconciliations and debtor management.
Coordinate/ oversee employee onboarding, HR records, and internal communications.
Ensure compliance with WHS, licensing, and relevant legislation.
Manage daily office activities, including facilities, suppliers, vendor coordination and insurance renewals.
Drive process improvements across finance, operational systems and administrative functions.
This role is ideal for a confident, organised professional with strong financial acumen and a focus on operational excellence.
What You'll Bring:
Proactive leader with strong organisational skills and a business-focused mindset.
3–5 years' experience in financial management, preferably in construction or security.
Solid understanding of payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Proficient in Xero, Microsoft Office, and business management systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experienced in managing internal systems and driving process improvements.
Knowledge of WHS and compliance standards.
Certificate or Diploma in Business Administration or Accounting (preferred).
Ability to lead with clarity, confidence, and commercial insight.
