An EBIT Recovery Leader is responsible for driving organisational efforts to restore and improve Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) performance. This role focuses on financial recovery, cost optimisation, risk management, and cross‐functional execution to stabilise and enhance the company's profitability.

Overall, the EBIT Recovery Leader plays a pivotal role in safeguarding profitability, strengthening financial resilience, and steering the organisation through performance recovery.

Service Commercial Department

The Service Commercial Department at Vestas serves as a central commercial function responsible for negotiating and managing service contracts while ensuring they align with customer expectations and Vestas' operational capability. It maintains commercially sustainable and risk‐aware agreements, supports customer relationship management and dispute resolution, and continuously enhances processes to drive strategic business development. It sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, operations, legal compliance, and customer engagement, making it one of the most critical functions in Vestas' service business.

Location: Australia (Melbourne) or South Korea (Seoul) – Region APC > Service Commercial APAC

Responsibilities
* Develop and execute EBIT recovery plans aligned with regional and global targets.
* Identify underperforming contracts and implement corrective measures to restore profitability.
* Commercial Analysis & Optimization: Conduct detailed financial analysis of service agreements to identify gaps in pricing, scope, and cost structures.
* Recommend renegotiation strategies or operational adjustments to improve margins.
Stakeholder Management
* Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Operations, and Legal teams to ensure alignment on recovery actions.
* Engage with customers to negotiate amendments or resolve disputes impacting EBIT.
Process Improvement
* Implement best practices for contract governance and margin monitoring.
* Support development of tools and dashboards for EBIT tracking and reporting.
Risk Management
* Assess contractual risks and propose mitigation strategies to prevent future margin erosion.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Engineering; MBA preferred.
* 7+ years of experience in commercial management, contract optimisation, or financial recovery roles within energy or industrial sectors.
Competencies
* Strong understanding of service contracts, pricing models, and cost drivers.
* Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
* Advanced analytical and problem‐solving capabilities; proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
* Ability to work in a matrix organisation and manage multiple priorities.
