About the Anti-Dumping Commission
We are Australia’s trade remedies authority - the Anti-Dumping Commission. The commission is responsible for undertaking investigations into allegations of unfair international trade practices involving goods entering Australia and administering Australia’s anti-dumping legislation. Previous Executive Assistant (EA) experience is not required if the ideal candidate has the right attitude, personality, and approach.

What you will do
Executive assistance
- secretariat for decision-making bodies (e.g. coordination of papers, agendas, minutes, and directly liaising with branch heads, directors and staff.
- provide executive secretarial and administrative support to the Commissioner including arranging meetings, email and diary management.
- manage deadlines and clearances, on behalf of the Commissioner, using judgement to prioritise and ensure timely adherence to timeframes.
- play a leadership role to the administrative support team across the ADC.
- build and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholder on behalf of the Commission in line with the APS Values and Code of Conduct and relevant departmental policies.
- work collaboratively across the executive team and the commission to support the Commissioner as required.
- coordinate and prepare correspondence and briefing material as required
Additional responsibilities may include:
- support the implementation and management of project and program activities
- build technical expertise that contributes to business unit outcomes
- undertake research and analysis
- network across the department and APS, including having a high level of communication with Senior Executives and the Executive Support Team.
Eligibility
To be eligible for employment in the APS and the department, candidates must be Australian Citizens.
Positions require a Baseline security clearance and successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain a clearance at this level.
