About the Role
The Executive Assistant to the CEO/COO is responsible for administrative tasks in the Office of the CEO to ensure effective delivery of Academy objectives, and the specific work of the CEO and COO. This role requires strong planning, organisation and coordination skills to support and manage the administrative requirements of the Academy's Executive Leaders and to contribute to a range of other activities as required.
A high level of interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Academy, is critical to the role.
As a valued member of the Office of the CEO, the applicant will understand sensitive information and appreciate the confidentiality required of the role specific to supporting the CEO and COO, the purpose of the Academy and the Office of the CEO.
Responsibilities
* Manage executive calendars, meeting organisation and successfully prioritise key work
* Liaise with stakeholders to organise events, meetings and other activities
* Provide support for key initiatives, processes and activities as required
* Contribute to and support various other staff and Academy initiatives, including in‐person events
* Ensure all activities uphold and build the Academy's reputation across the education sector and support the delivery of its objectives

* Strong understanding of workload prioritisation
* Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high‐performing team
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to be flexible to adapt and support delivery of business priorities across the remit of the Office of the CEO
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
* Experience as an Executive Assistant to senior executives, in a similar administrative role or a relevant tertiary qualification would be highly regarded
Further Information
This will include working in the office at least 3 times per week (sometimes more, depending on business requirements), and being flexible on the days each week in order to attend and support the CEO, COO, in‐person events and other priorities.
