Pathology Collector - Shepparton Area

Position: Pathology collector

Location: Shepparton area

Melbourne Pathology is one of Victoria's largest diagnostic pathology laboratories, committed to providing high quality healthcare throughout metropolitan Melbourne and Regional Victoria.

Melbourne Pathology is seeking suitable candidates to fill a Pathology Collector vacancy in the Shepparton area.

The successful applicant will:

- Possess excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate a high level of clinical skills
- Show a strong commitment to customer service
- Have well developed organisational skills.

Collectors must have demonstrated clinical skills and a Certificate III or IV in pathology collection.

This role is also suitable for recent graduates.

Switchboard Operator - Abbotsford

Position: Switchboard operator
Position type: Full-time
Location: Abbotsford

Melbourne Pathology is one of Victoria's largest diagnostic pathology laboratories, committed to providing a high quality healthcare service to our clients, 24 hours a day/7 days a week throughout metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria.

An opportunity exists to join our Switchboard team located in Abbotsford.

We are seeking applicants who possess excellent communication skills, phone manners and demonstrate well developed word processing and data entry skills.

Previous experience in a healthcare medical setting would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Position requirements:

- Answer inbound calls and direct to the correct department, laboratory or other department entities
- Flexible approach to work
- Work both independently and as a team member
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise your workload and work methodically in a fast-paced environment
- Have intermediate computer PC skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.

The successful applicants will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

This position will require the incumbent to work Monday to Friday, between the hours of 2:54pm - 11pm.

The incumbent must also be available for weekend work.

An opportunity exists to join our Results Call Centre located in Abbotsford.

We are seeking applicants who possess excellent communication skills, phone manners and demonstrate well developed word processing and data entry skills.

Previous experience in a healthcare medical setting would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Position requirements:

- Answer incoming calls from doctors and patients and providing them with relevant information regarding patients' results
- Flexible approach to work
- Work both independently and as a team member
- Demonstrate the ability to prioritise your workload and work methodically in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to work under pressure.

The successful applicants will provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.

This position will require the incumbent to work Monday to Friday for AM and PM shifts.
