Job Description
Some of the duties include the following:
* Receive each guest call in a professional, friendly and timely manner.
* Maintain effective communication with all related departments to ensure smooth service delivery to our guests.
* Handle every query in a polite and courteous manner and exceed guest expectations.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all hotel outlets, services, events and local experiences.
* Maintain an awareness of guest profile through Opera Cloud.
* Assist customers with reservation queries.
* Ensure the proper operation of the switchboard, resulting in fast and efficient transferring of internal and external calls.
* Flexibility to assist the Front Office department with Guest Relations matters, e.g. preparing for VIP guest arrivals, anticipating guest needs, and communicating crucial information to all relevant hotel departments.
* Flexibility to support the Hotel Reception/Lobby as required.
Qualifications
* Minimum 1-2 years' customer service experience in a similar role or have already worked as a Receptionist in a fast paced hotel
* Opera Cloud experience, desirable
* Energy and enthusiasm with an eye for detail
* High level of organisational skills
* Ability to work within a team or independently
