Key Role: Administrative Support
We are seeking a diligent individual to provide day-to-day administrative assistance in the smooth operation of our medical services at the Immigration Detention Centre in Melbourne.
Main Responsibilities:
* The successful candidate will be responsible for attending to incoming telephone inquiries and managing a register of appointments.
* They will also provide typing/secretarial support, photocopying, word processing, and printing services as required.
* In addition, they will prepare documents, reports, and assist with mail/referral collection and transport arrangements when necessary.
Requirements:
* The ideal candidate will possess administration and data entry experience, preferably within the health/medical industry.
* A working knowledge of general medical terminology is advantageous.
* The incumbent should be well-organised, time-efficient, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A First Aid certificate is essential, with willingness to obtain one if not currently held.
