Part Time Position located across RMH City and Royal Park campuses
The Telephone & Communications Department is a dedicated team of multi skilled staff, who provide a wide range of services over a 24-hour, 7 day a week period. Currently we are seeking dedicated Switchboard Operators to join our team at RMH City & Royal Park Campuses
About the Role:
Operating an extremely busy hospital switchboard
Actioning emergency calls as specified
transmitting messages via paging system and updating information.
This is a multidisciplinary role, which includes weekend shifts providing receptionist support on our information desk and mailroom duties when required
About you:
Medical Terminology knowledge
Call Centre / Switchboard experience
Excellent customer service skills
Problem solving skills
Demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously
Proficient PC skills, including Word & Excel - Effective organizational and time management skills
