Teams provide care to both acute inpatient medical units and community treatment options utilising evidence based therapies, within a person centred model.The Manager Role of WRC is responsible for the day to day operational oversight of the team. This includes Outpatient, Day program, and staff who work within the adolescent medicine ward and West 4 the adult eating disorder inpatient.The role is responsible for:Operational management of the team, ensuring that clinicians provide assessment and use diagnosis, formulation, and consumers’ preferences to develop and deliver effective, evidence-based psychological intervention as per the model of care including:CBT-EDSpecialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM)Eating-disorder-focused focal psychodynamic therapy (FPT)Engaging with families and carers as part of providing evidence-based psychological assessment and interventionIdentifying and referring to appropriate ongoing psychological support as part of discharge planningOperational management of WRC including coordinating professional development, managing recruitment, and conducting performance appraisalsCo-ordinate quality projects and risk management activitiesImplement systems and processes to ensure that the operational and clinical Key Performance Indicators are metParticipate in department meetings and other meetings when requested or requiredEnsure the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery by facilitating people, process and system change where required to ensure WRC meets its purposeThe role is a 0.9 EFT ongoing role.
