OverviewKWM Melbourne's exceptional Business Services team is looking for a Switchboard Operator with a flair for providing excellent customer service.Role DetailWe are seeking a polished and professional Switchboard Operator to join our Melbourne team.
In this role you will be responsible for answering calls that come through to the Switchboard and responding to requests in an efficient and professional manner.
This role also involves providing administrative support to the broader Business Services team.This is a part-time permanent role working 9:30am to 6:00pm, Tuesday to Friday, with flexibility required on occasion.Your day will involveAnswering and managing calls efficiently with a professional and helpful mannerTransferring callers promptly to the appropriate staff member or departmentProcessing incoming faxes accurately and promptlyMonitoring shared mailboxes and actioning requests in a timely mannerProcessing Business Services and Hospitality invoices by due datesCoordinating after-hours services when requiredLiaising with Building Management and Security on tenancy issues, escalating to the Business Services Manager where necessarySupporting OHS standards by helping maintain a safe and secure tenancyProviding support to the Business Services Team as requested by the Switchboard Team Leader and/or local Business Services ManagerAbout YouProficient in MS Office with a desire for experience with legal systems such as Elite 3E and iManageExperience as a Switchboard Operator, Receptionist or similar role within a professional services environmentKnowledge of Business Services functions (mail, courier, switchboard, records management)Strong written / verbal communication and professional phone mannerEffective time management with ability to prioritise and handle multiple tasksSelf-motivated, proactive and solutions-focusedAdaptable and team-orientedHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workWillingness to work outside core business hours if requiredNote: law students seeking a pathway into a legal career may prefer to explore our Clerkship and Graduate programs.Who are we?
